Happy Birthday to
Michelle Williams
30 today
I like the former Mrs. Heath Ledger, not just because she's an exciting and varied screen presence, but also because she comes across as very normal in real life; there just isn't an ounce of self importance around her. Some high profile projects coming up including oscar bait Blue Valentine and Noah Baumbach's next film, but I'm most interested in seeing Take this Waltz.

Ben, I will always have a special place for "Alma".....thank you for remembering her....
Leaving for San Francisco today, back in a week... Be well..keep up the great posts!
Tom
Michelle was never Mrs Ledger, they never married nor did he ever plan to do so. Just because she 'accidently' fell pregnant doesn't mean she was the love of his life. There had been much more important women in Heath's love life, particularly Naomi Watts who he regretting leaving (because he wasn't ready to have children, ironically). The last few months of his life he was actually with Gemma Ward who has still not publicly emerged from her mourning.
As for Michelle, she looks nice sometimes but without makeup she is pretty ugly. Her acting isn't that great either, it's hit and miss most of the times. I guess she's still learning.
Have a great time in San Fran, Tom.
Anonymous - thank you for your correction about Michelle's relationship with Heath. I admit I knew they didn't marry and I was just using a cheap entry into the post. I quite like most of her work, very effective in Brokeback and Incendiary but I won't pretend to be a completist.
