Julianne has done her fair share of popcorn movies however has always shown her true colours and enthusiasm in borderline arthouse work, such as her collaborations with Todd Haynes and Paul Thomas Anderson. The questions is whether she will secure her fifth Academy award nomination with The Kids are All Right.

I don't think she will, Tom.
I confess to not having caught Kids, but I really think the promotional team would be doing her a disservice if they tried that.
As I type now I don't think her chances of getting a nomination are completely gone. She's still haning in there with the four or so actresses in the hunt for the final slot.
