Happy Birthday to
F. Murray Abraham
71 today
In the DVD commentry for 1984's Oscar winning Amadeus director Milos Forman famously said he cast F. Murray in the role of the bitter and jealous composer Salieri as he recognised the character within the actor. Ouch! I'm sure Abraham would have loved to have prove him wrong, but alas there hasn't been a great deal of quality in his subsequent films.

Interesting! Yes, Abraham was a "one-hit wonder", but what a hit! (Don't you think he would make an excellent Grinch?)
I'd love to see Abraham burst into he public conciousness once again but not sure what it will take.
I never had too much contact with Dr. Seuss as a kid so the only Grinch I know is from the Ron Howard/Jim Carrey film. Not sure I'd want to replicate that experience in any way, especially with an actor I genuinely respect.
