Irish actor of stage and screen best known for his collaborations with Neil Jordan, especially the "reveal" scene in The Crying Game. Nothing on the horizon that interests me, but he did have a nice role as a supportive, sardonic Priest in this years Ondine if you haven't yet seen it.

I missed "Ondine" in it's barely 2-week run in Chicago. It is high on my list of home viewings. Ben, "The Crying Game" was sensational...Stephen Rea's best role, I think. I remember that revelatory moment, and my hilariously confused reaction to it...! Wonder what happened to Jaye Davidson?
I think Jaye was just never that interested in acting - having been spotted purely for The Crying Game then did Stargate for the money then dropped out.
Good luck to him I say.
