A consummate professional and natural sing-and-dance star, Reynolds starting film acting in the late 40's and gained stardom following 1952's Singin' in the Rain, although she's just as well known among geeks these days for her fraught relationship with daughter Carrie Fisher. With the disappearance of Katherine Heigl's One for the Money from the summer schedules it looks like we still won't be seeing Reynolds back where she belongs for some time.
