Happy Birthday to
Jessica Lange
62 today
Notoriously publicity shy Lange's breakout role was in the underrated 1976 King Kong remake swiftly followed by the Angel of Death in All that Jazz. Equally adept in comedic and dramatic roles it's a shame we don't see more of her these days.

Love the Lange!
Still hoping that Cherry Orchard production will happen one day...
She was so hot in "Blue Sky", using her whole body to create her volatile character. I miss her these days.
Thanks for the comments chaps, I miss Jessica too.
I'd love to see Lange trying something like The Cherry Orchard I'm sure she'd totally carry off the Chekhov's desperate comic realities.
Lange is my favorite Actress. She did "Grey Gardens" last year and won a well-deserved Emmy for her performance.
She has two films lined up - The Big Valley (which will be done shooting by the end of this year) and The Vow w/ Channing Tatum.
Also, Lange will be on TV this fall in a new show from the creator's of "Glee".
It's called "American Horror Story". Check it out!
I'll definitely be looking into those upcoming projects. Thanks for the heads up.
