Happy Birthday to
Liza Minnelli
65 today
Oh, Liza, what happened? Why don't we see you more? Are you still thinking about a filmed version of Sunset Boulevard (the Andrew Lloyd-Webber version)? Why are you wasting you're time with Sex and the City and The Muppets? So many questions. At least we have this delightful collction of Cabaret tracks, as performed in "Liza with a Z" to remind us of the good times.

Wow, thank you for the "Cabaret" clips...as you know, one of my favorites of all time.
I have missed her too. Maybe she will just never erase the memory of Sally Bowles. I could have seen a younger Liza playing the Charlie role in "A Single Man".
I wonder why she and Rob Marshall have never teamed up?
It's always a delight slipping in some Cabaret clips.
I suspect we've lost her forever now, although I like your Rob Marshall suggestion - maybe he could be persuaded to bring her out of retirement for another decent picture.
