Known for her hourglass figure and numerous marriages (officially 5 but after the death of Howard Hughes claimed they were secretly wed) Moore was often on the edge of stardom in the 40's and 50's. The lead in Mighty Joe Young (as the girl not the ape) and a supporting oscar nod for Come Back, Little Sheba being the highlights. Who knows what she might of achieved had she not been on the front page of the gossip rags every few weeks.

I have Come Back Little Sheba, but never bothered seeing it. I hardly believe she was better in it that Jean Hagen :D
